Thanks Nick. Actually the biggest problems with teenage press gang was they didn't have own kit! I enjoyed your instagram pix too. Let's definitely sort something next year. Incidentally Red tent was down to a Bristol promoter friend of mine called Mr Benn - mightily impressed by the line up he got.

your input definitely started to give radio Womad a more cutting edge. Womad still suffers a bit from the beard stroking muso syndrome but is slowly evolving big red tent lineup great example. Unfortunately I'm not in the teenage or even below 45 age group but would love to input to your multi platform approach next year.

I was worried about the early start too but it was carried off on sheer momentum.

Cover It Live meant that we could control comments in the room itself. But honestly, I maybe left out one or two.

It was heartfelt and genuine.

We done Dan, it worked very well from this end (only the lovely Lauren LaverneTM et al know how it looked in the bid room).

I'll admit to being a little worried when I first heard the idea, both at how momentum would be sustained over such a long period of time at at the potential for the contributions on the hashtag to get sarcastic or anti council (anything Council related is a very political issue with strong feelings abounding) — but it was handled very well and did provide a good show of support.

I'd sort of say it did contain (but wasn't limited to) the 'same old faces mentioning the same old things', but it's not losing the old that's the aim but getting new people engaged — and this did that.

You're done imho a very good job managing the social web presence — top stuff, let's hope it leads to a Brum victory.

She's back.
I phoned the police, they came and left, she carried on being noisy.
I've just logged 'the incident' with Birmingham Council's ASBO unit. If this doesn't help, I'm speaking to Drake!

I approached them about 3 times. Called their landlord and also spoke to mine. I think the continual pressure did help and now, thankfully she's moved out. Keep it up. I hope it improves.

I can totally sympathise with this...i have a very similar situation. So far i have approached them aprox 3 times, i have contacted my local authority, i have recorded the noise on my phone and i have kept a diary of the noise. This week i have written a letter of complaint to the neighbours and have had no response so far. My next step is the contact the police.
Mayeb try what i have and see if you get any better results.

This is a really useful map Dan that I'm sure many cyclists find useful, it doesn't paint an entirely optimist view point for cyclists but at least they have this tool to stay as safe as possible.

why not insulate your living room with a sound proof material, invest in some horrifying large speakers from some hi fi nerd shop, point them against the adjoining wall/ceiling whatever in another room,and loop the intro to the human leagues 'love action', sure to make anyone want to skin themselves alive after five minutes ;)

Ironically Drake, she used fire herself a few weeks back. The smoke alarms were going off for about 20 minutes one day so I went round to see if everything was alright. She'd left two pans on the stove one of which had boiled dry and a chopping board was melting into it. Knocked on the door, no response... so someone called the fire brigade.
